Welcome to Aratula

Aratula is on the Cunningham Highway at the foot of Cunningham’s Gap. It is a very popular town with travellers passing through, with several service stations, shops, caravan parks and motels.

Located in the Fassifern Valley, Aratula is surrounded by the majestic four peaks of Moogerah and the Main Range.

Aratula is close to walking trails in the Moogerah Peaks National Park and also to Lake Moogerah, which is popular  for camping, waterskiing, jet skiing, boating and fishing.

To the west of Aratula is the Main Range National Park.  The park offers a diversity of flora and fauna, bushwalks and stunning views.

Aratula hosts the annual Scenic Rim Winter Harvest Festival in July as part of the Eat Local celebrations.  This event is a must for food lovers, with plenty of tasting and shopping opportunities.  It is a great family day out with plenty of entertainment for children.

Aratula is and easy 30 minutes drive south west of Ipswich, 15 minutes west of Boonah and an hour from Brisbane.
